Sensor Component Sourcing for PCB Projects

OrinewPCB · Components + turnkey PCB assembly
Source sensors that match the measurement your product needs. OrinewPCB can review sensor part numbers for component purchasing, complete BOM sourcing and turnkey PCB assembly.
100% new, original, genuine components. Exact parts, approved alternatives and a quotation based on your requirements.

What to know before purchasing: A sensor converts a physical quantity into information that a circuit can use. Purchasing needs to preserve measurement range, accuracy under the relevant conditions, response, interface and mechanical arrangement—not just the name of the quantity being measured.
Sensor for PCB and Product Projects
Temperature and environmental sensing
Specify measurement and operating ranges, required accuracy and the intended placement. Board temperature, enclosure airflow and the measured medium can affect how the complete system behaves.
Current, magnetic and position sensing
Provide the approved measurement range, bandwidth, interface and any isolation or magnetic arrangement requirements. Keep the device selection tied to the actual sensing topology.
Motion, optical and pressure sensing
Specify the relevant field of view, response, range or media compatibility. Mechanical openings, ports and optical paths can be as important as the electronic interface.
100% New, Original, Genuine Components
OrinewPCB’s supply commitment covers the electronic components we sell and the components we supply for our turnkey PCB assembly builds. We do not supply used, refurbished or remarked components.
We work with component manufacturers and distribution partners to offer competitive purchasing and lead-time options. Our reputation is built around supplying the approved parts and communicating the actual purchasing conditions clearly.
Tell us your required date/lot conditions, packing, labeling or supporting documentation before ordering so the available evidence and requirements can be confirmed for the quotation. We do not replace a released BOM part with an unapproved alternative.
Sensor Specification and Purchasing Checklist
Use the approved manufacturer data and your released design to define the requirement. The following inputs help us prepare a useful quotation and identify questions that need engineering approval.
On a phone, swipe this table sideways to see every column.
| Input | What to specify | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Measurement requirement | Physical quantity and minimum/maximum required range. | The device’s operating range and measurement range may differ. |
| Accuracy and conditions | Required accuracy, temperature conditions and calibration needs. | Resolution alone is not a complete accuracy specification. |
| Dynamic response | Bandwidth, sample rate, latency or response time as applicable. | The sensor must follow the physical behavior the product needs. |
| Electrical interface | Supply and analog, digital or other output requirements. | The selected device must work with the board and firmware. |
| Mechanical environment | Package, placement, ports, optical path or magnetic geometry. | The measured medium and physical arrangement affect suitability. |
| Build and test | Packing, handling and agreed functional/calibration procedure. | A working sensor system needs a defined assembly and acceptance scope. |
Separate Sensor Resolution from System Accuracy
A fine output resolution does not guarantee that the measured result is accurate across the product’s operating conditions. Review the exact sensor’s accuracy limits, response and application arrangement. If calibration is required, define who supplies the reference, procedure and pass/fail criteria in the PCBA inquiry.
Prepare a Sensor Quotation
Send the approved requirement
Provide full manufacturer part numbers or the BOM revision, quantity basis, packing and destination. Identify open specifications and any fixed constraints.
Review the sourcing options
Confirm quoted identity, quantity, price, availability and lead time. Review proposed alternatives separately and approve changes before the order or build is released.
Connect purchasing to the build
For turnkey PCBA, align the BOM with fabrication files, placement data and the assembly drawing. Define programming and testing needs explicitly.
Example Inquiry Wording
Please quote the exact sensor part numbers in our BOM. Required range, accuracy conditions, interface and package are specified in the design notes. Alternatives need approval. For turnkey assembly, the attached procedure defines firmware, functional testing and any calibration scope.

Sensor Sourcing FAQs
Can a sensor with the same interface replace the original?
Not automatically. Review range, accuracy, response, supply requirements, package, pinout, firmware behavior and physical application conditions. Interface compatibility is only one part of the decision.
Do you provide calibration with every sensor assembly?
Calibration is a separate project requirement, not an automatic part of component sourcing or assembly. Provide the procedure, reference equipment requirements and pass/fail criteria so scope and feasibility can be reviewed.
Can sensor sourcing be combined with PCB manufacturing and assembly?
Yes. Request a turnkey PCBA quote with the design package and sensor BOM. Include any placement, contamination-control, port, optical or test requirement that affects the completed product.
Are the components supplied by OrinewPCB new and genuine?
Our supply commitment is 100% new, original, genuine electronic components. It also applies to components we supply for our turnkey PCB assembly builds. We do not supply used, refurbished or remarked parts.
How are pricing and lead times confirmed?
Send the exact part number, quantity, packaging, destination and requested date. Our manufacturer and distributor relationships support competitive sourcing options; actual price, availability and lead time are confirmed for the quoted items and quantities.
What should I send for a components or turnkey PCBA quote?
For components, send exact manufacturer part numbers or a BOM with quantities and requirements. For turnkey assembly, add PCB fabrication files, placement data and the assembly drawing. Include any programming and testing scope before production is released.
