OrinewPCB · PCB ASSEMBLY SERVICES
PCB Assembly Services
SMT, through-hole and mixed assembly for prototypes, small batches and production. Get help matching your board design, sourcing needs and test requirements to the right build plan.
Share your board files, BOM, quantity and project requirements.
CHOOSE YOUR BUILD SCOPE
Which PCB assembly service do you need?
PCB assembly places and solders electronic components onto a fabricated board. Start with your material responsibilities and project stage, then define the assembly and test requirements.
Need the Complete PCBA?
Choose turnkey support for PCB fabrication, BOM sourcing and assembly. Use partial turnkey if you already have selected materials.
Have PCBs or Components?
Send an inventory with your assembly files. Identify packaging, quantities and expected material arrival dates for a build review.
Moving Beyond Samples?
Send sample and batch quantities together. Label the board revisions and BOM variants so the next build can be planned clearly.
ASSEMBLY TECHNOLOGIES
Choose the process your board needs.
SMT Assembly
Surface-mount component placement and reflow for single-sided or double-sided designs. Share your package list and layout for a capability review.
Through-Hole Assembly
Assembly for through-hole components and connectors. Board access, soldering requirements and mechanical needs are reviewed with your files.
Mixed Technology
Coordinate SMT and through-hole processes on the same board. Include assembly drawings and special handling notes for a clear process plan.
DESIGN AND PROCESS OPTIONS
Find the assembly review that fits your board.
These services can form part of a full turnkey project. Choose the relevant page to prepare the board, material and process requirements for your inquiry.
Automated Assembly
Prepare consistent placement files, BOM data and production requirements for machine-assisted assembly.
Manual Assembly Tasks
Define insertion, selected soldering and special handling within a complete assembly build.
AC & HVAC Control Boards
Bring board variants, connector drawings, firmware and functional test requirements into the quote.
Flexible PCB Assembly
Specify flexible regions, mechanical constraints, component placement and handling requirements.
Rigid-Flex PCB Assembly
Coordinate the rigid and flexible construction with installed geometry and assembly support.
High-Tg PCB Assembly
State the laminate specification and assembly requirements for a material and process review.
Other design needs: double-sided PCB assembly · package-on-package assembly review.
PROJECT STAGES
From first prototypes to repeat builds.
Prototype Assembly
Evaluate the design and assembly process before a larger order. Include the checks you need for engineering validation.
Low-Volume & High-Mix
Plan smaller batches and different board variants. Clearly label file revisions, quantities and variant-specific BOMs.
Production Assembly
Discuss recurring quantities, material availability, first-article requirements and the agreed production test process.
MATERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Need PCB fabrication and component sourcing too?
Our turnkey PCB assembly service brings bare PCBs, BOM procurement and assembly together. Partial turnkey is available when you want to supply selected PCBs or components.
Identify who supplies each material before quoting. This helps the team check shortages, delivery timing and the complete build scope.
TECHNICAL REVIEW
Confirm capabilities against your design.
A useful assembly review starts with the actual board and package requirements. Send these details with your files rather than relying on a general headline specification.
Board & Layout
Board size, thickness, panel requirements, component clearances and single-sided or double-sided placement.
Component Packages
Package sizes, fine-pitch devices, BGA/QFN locations, connectors and temperature-sensitive parts.
Inspection & Tests
AOI, X-ray where needed, programming, electrical or functional testing and acceptance criteria.
PRICE & DELIVERY
Get a quote for your actual build.
Assembly cost depends on placement count, package complexity, quantity, material sourcing, setup and test requirements. Delivery also depends on PCB fabrication and component availability. Send your target date so feasibility can be checked with the complete project scope.
PROJECT QUESTIONS
Before you send your files.
What is the difference between PCB fabrication and PCB assembly?
Fabrication produces the bare circuit board. Assembly places and solders the components on that board. A turnkey project can include both processes and component procurement.
Can a board combine SMT and through-hole parts?
Yes. Mixed assembly can include both. Provide placement files and assembly drawings so process order, soldering and access requirements can be reviewed.
What should I send for an assembly quote?
Send Gerber files, BOM, pick-and-place/CPL data, quantities and any assembly or test instructions. For supplied materials, include an inventory and expected arrival date.
Can I request lead-free assembly or special inspection?
Specify solder requirements, inspection scope and the required acceptance criteria with your request. The team will confirm them as part of the build plan.
START WITH YOUR REQUIREMENTS
Let’s review your PCB assembly project.
Need PCB fabrication and parts too? Ask for a full turnkey PCBA quote. If you already have materials, list what you will supply. Start with your application, quantity and target date even if your files are still being prepared.
- Gerber files, BOM and pick-and-place data
- Quantity and full or partial turnkey scope
- Target delivery date and shipping destination
- Programming, inspection and functional test requirements
For partial turnkey, identify the PCBs and components you will supply. If the uploader does not accept your file, email the project package.
